Former Residence of Luxun

Lu Xun Museum Lu Xun was regarded as the founder of modern Chinese writing and a revered scholar.

Lu Xun bought the house in February 1923, and in the following two years that he lived there he created many works, including the famous collection of short stories entitled Uncertainty. The museum, built in October 1956, takes up an area of 12,000 square meters. It contains a huge collection of cultural relics, including Lu's manuscripts and photos, things he once used, as well as other historical documents and pictures.
