Temple of Past Emperors

Lidai Diwang Miao (Temple of Past Emperors)Lidai Diwang Miao (Temple of Past Emperors) is a historic temple where Ming and Qing emperors made sacrifices to their ancestors. Many of the original temple fixtures that made this temple unique and beautiful were destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. These included the ancient wooden tablets that symbolized past rulers. But they are slowly being restored. It is still worth going to especially catch a glimpse of the 26 foot tall, beautiful carved stele on either side of the main hall.
