Temple Of Confucius
Temple of Confucius is located at Guozijian Street of Dongcheng District. It served as the venue for commemorating Confucius and sacrificial ceremonies during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. Its construction was completed in 1306, and went through several repairs and expansions over the years. Beijing Temple of Confucius is the second largest of its kind in China, after the one in Qufu, Shandong Province.
