Tour Itinerary
- Lunch
Upon your arrival at Beijing Airport, a guide will warmly welcome you and escort you to your hotel for check-in. Today is yours for leisure, allowing you to pursue activities at your own pace.

- Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner at Beijing Roast Duck
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will embark on today's itinerary, visiting Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City in the morning.
Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest city square, resides at the heart of Beijing, with the Tiananmen (Gate of Heavenly Peace) to its north, demarcating it from the Forbidden City.
Encircled by formidable structures, it includes the Heavenly Gate, numerous museums, government edifices, and Chairman Mao's Mausoleum.

The Forbidden City, home to 24 emperors from 1368 to 1911, is a World Heritage Site. It stands as the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial architectural complex globally.

Today's lunch will be served at a local restaurant, where your will savor Beijing Roast Duck. Your local tour guide will recommend a specific venue based on your itinerary.
Beijing Roast Duck, a dish originating from the imperial era, is celebrated for its thin, crisp skin. Authentic versions predominantly feature the skin with minimal meat, sliced before diners by the cook. It stands as the epitome of Beijing cuisine.

After lunch, the guide will lead you to the Hutongs in Beijing's Xicheng district for a walking tour.
Hutongs are historic alleyways flanked by traditional single-story courtyard houses, relics of old Beijing that are rapidly fading. As you wander through these narrow paths, you can visit local residents to experience the traditional lifestyle and learn about the preservation of these unique homes and their culture.

After this delightful excursion, the guide will escort you back to your hotel for a rest.
- Breakfast, Lunch
Following an enjoyable breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall.
The Mutianyu section of the Great Wall is ranked top on TripAdvisor among all the Great Wall sections, for its picturesque scenery and beautifully-restored architecture. It is about 1.5 hours' drive from downtown Beijing.

In order to save time for you, we arrange a round-trip cable car to ascend and descend the Wall, instead of spending about 40 minutes climbing steps. At the Wall, you have free time to walk around, after your guide does some introductions. The cable car ascends to and descends from tower 14.
Hike “the most beautiful and interesting part of the Great Wall” — between the 14th and 23rd watch towers — acknowledged by hikers as "the golden route".

After concluding your tour of the Great Wall, the guide will arrange for you to have lunch at a nearby local restaurant. Following the meal, your afternoon tour will continue.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Ming Tombs and the Sacred Way.
The Ming Tombs, situated in Changping District approximately 50 kilometers northwest of Beijing, are encircled by mountains on three sides. This imperial cemetery spans 120 square kilometers and is the final resting place for 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty, along with 23 empresses and numerous concubines, princes, and princesses.
Hence, it is also known as the Thirteen Mausoleums. These tombs are the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs and have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A charming tree-lined avenue leads to the Thirteen Tombs, with twelve pairs of animal and human statues standing majestically on either side. Flanking the pathway are the imposing Great Red Gate, a stele on the back of a tortoise, and a marble archway. This avenue is known as the Sacred Way.

Following your tour of the Ming Tombs, you will be escorted back to your hotel for some rest.
- Breakfast, Lunch
Today, you will explore the Eastern Qing Tombs, the royal mausoleum complex of the Qing Dynasty in China. After having breakfast at the hotel in the morning, your guide will pick you up for the excursion.
Today's lunch will be at a local restaurant, and the guide will arrange the meal timing based on the day's sightseeing schedule.
The Eastern Mausoleums lie 125 km (75 miles) northeast of Beijing and represent the finest and most expansive surviving complex of imperial tombs in China. Like the Western Qing Mausoleums, they serve as sacred resting places for Qing emperors, empresses, and imperial concubines.

These mausoleums are less frequented by tourists and more serene compared to the 13 Ming Dynasty tombs, which are closer to Beijing. You'll encounter magnificent "palaces" and halls on the grounds, and have the opportunity to explore the subterranean "palaces" housing the coffins of Emperor Qianlong and the 'Dragon Lady,' Cixi.

Conclude the day's tour and return to the hotel in Beijing by car.
