Travel Tips

• Entrance ticket to Mutianyu: CNY 40/person.
• Once you have purchased your tickets, you will need to take a shuttle bus from the ticket office to the car park near the Wall. The fare for the shuttle bus: round-trip tickets cost CNY15 per person and one-way tickets cost CNY10 per person.
• Taking a cable car or chairlift at Mutianyu to reach the higher sections of the wall more easily. The cable car operating hours vary. Usually, it starts in the morning around 8:00 and closes in the afternoon around 16:00, CNY100 for one way; CNY140 for a round trip; Free for children under 1.2m (3.9ft).
• Carry water and snacks as amenities may be limited on the wall. Stay hydrated during your visit.
