Day 1Beijing Arrival

Our guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2Beijing

Today is a full day tour of city highlights. we will first visit Tiananmen Square which is the largest city square in China and surrounded by many significant buildings. After strolling around the square, we step into the Forbidden City. Forbidden City is the largest and the best preserved ancient imperial complex in the world which was home to 24 emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties. Lunch is at a local restaurant which serves great Chinese food. See the process of cultivating and manufacturing of pearl by paying a visit to a pearl shop. In the afternoon, hop on a rickshaw to ride through Hutong. Hutongs are a maze of historic alleyways lined with old single story traditional courtyard houses. A local family visit will give you an insight into the traditioanl architecture and local residents' life. Learn Chinese calligraphy in a local family in Hutong area will highlight your tour.

Day 3Beijing

Today, a 2 hours' private drive by our comfortable car/van will take you to Mutianyu Great Wall which is a less crowded section of the Great Wall. Walking along the winding walls which characteriese unique watchtowers and superb views. Cable car is available to help you up and down. Lunch is arranged at a local restaurant near Mutianyu. You will be taken back to the city center to visit the Temple of Heaven. It is a complex of Taoist buildings situated in the south-eastern part of central Beijing. The emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties visited there for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for a good harvest. Dinner is arranged at the Quanjude roast duck restaurant. Return to your hotel after that.

Day 4Beijing

After breakfast, you will visit the Summer Palace first. Regarded as the "Museum of Royal Gardens", the Summer Palace is well preserved and renowned for its beautiful landscape and spectacular architecture. A boat cruise on Kunming Lake will give you an overall view of the garden. Lunch is at a local restaurant which serves great local food. En route to Lama Temple, we will pass by Beijing Olympic Green. An exterior view of the olympic venues will awaken your olympic memories. The Lama Temple is the largest and most famous Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It houses the world's largest wooden statue (the Matreiya Buddha) and many Tibetan exhibitions. Return to your hotel after the tour.
