Temple of Heaven

After breakfast our guide will take you to visit the Tiananmen Square, the world's largest city square and enduring symbol of China's national pride. It has great cultural significance as it was the site of several pivotal events in Chinese history. Proceed to visit The Forbidden City which was home to 24 emperors between 1368 and 1911. It’s the largest and the best preserved ancient imperial architecture complex in the world. Continue to visit Temple of Heaven, which covers an area of 273 hectares and is a complex of Taoist buildings where emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties visited for annual ceremonies of pray for good harvests. At noon, have a Chinese Lunch at a local famous restaurant, Courtyard 7 Restaurant. After lunch go to visit the Summer Palace, the largest and best preserved imperial garden in China. It’s the summer retreat of the Imperial families and was included in the "World Heritage" in 1998. Then head for Lizexiang Pearl Store. China's freshwater pearls are celebrated throughout the world. Here you will see the seeds being planted in the live mussel and also how learn how to differentiate real pearls from fake. This is a great opportunity to buy genuine pearls.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be taken to The Badaling Great Wall, which is a famous popular section of the Great Wall. The battlements and watchtowers are high and steep in places and provide wonderful views across the hills, which will must take your breath. Take a cable car round this section of best preserved and earliest to be open for sightseeing. After that continue to the Changling tomb, the tomb of emperor Yongle,the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty. The color paintings on the ceiling and golden brick paved earth together added magnificent atmosphere to the palace. Lunch is at Xin Shuang Quan Restaurant, which is a garden style restaurant serves farmhouse dishes, specializing in rainbow trout, sturgeon and salmon.

After breakfast, begin today’s tour with a visit to Beijing Zoo, which was built in 1908 and mainly exhibits wild and rare animals growing in China such as the Panda. After visiting the animals, proceed to the Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall which designed to introduce the long history of Beijing and and exhibit the splendid future of Beijing's urban development. Then you will have a Hutong experience in Xicheng District. Hutong is a maze of historic alleyways with old single storey traditional courtyard houses, which are now fast disappearing. Hopping on a rickshaw to ride through the narrow alleys is a good choice. At noon, Chinese Lunch is at Jing Mian Da Wang Restaurant which serves authentic dishes of Old Beijing fare - hand-pulled noodles, cold dishes, snack foods and more. After lunch, you will have a chance to learn to apply Facial Makeup for the Beijing opera. It is characterized by exquisite patterns of bright colors and fine, smooth lines applied by painting with brush and by applying by hand to achieve artistic exaggeration. You can choose the make up for your favorite character.
