Daily Itinerary

Day 1 ( )

Arrival / Beijing
Transfer via: International flight to Beijing-On your own arrangement.
On arrival at Beijing, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

 

Day 2 (B,L)
Beijing
Visit Forbidden city, The Temple of Heaven, The Tian'anmen Square, Enjoy Kungfu Show.
- Forbidden city: the Forbidden City was the place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties carried out their administration and lived. Now it is open to the public as a palace museum where people can see the great traditional palace architecture, enjoy the treasures kept in the palace, and learn of the legends and anecdotes about the imperial family and the court
- The Temple of Heaven: The Temple of Heaven was the place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvests. The emperors visited the temple three times a year: on the 8th day of the first lunar month to pray for a good harvest; during the Summer Solstice to pray for rain; and during Winter Solstice to give thanks for a good harvest. This is a good place to watch people practicing Taijiquan(Taichi) each morning
- The Tian'anmen Square: Located at the center of Beijing City , where you can visit Tiananmen Tower, Monument to the People's Heroes, Great Hall of the People, China Mao's Memorial Hall.
- Kungfu Show: You don't have to be a martial arts enthusiast to appreciate the incredible feats of strength, with fists, feet, swords, and other weapons. Kungfu expert display their kicks, punches and use of weapons with uncanny speed, power and agility.

 

Day 3 (B,L)
Beijing
One day trip to The Great Wall -Badaling, The Sacred Road, Dingling/The Ming Tomb. Enjoy Roasting Duck at Qianmen Quanjude .
- The Great Wall -Badaling: One of the seven wonders in the world and the symbol of China.
- The Sacred Road: The Sacred Road: The road is guarded on both sides with stone statues by which the ancient emperors went to hold a memorial ceremony for the ancestors.
- Dingling/The Ming Tomb: The only underground tomb of the thirteen tombs of the emperors in the Ming Dynasty.
- Roasting Duck at Qianmen Quanjude : In the evening, enjoy the Peking Roasted Duck which is renowned as the most delicious food of Beijing.Forbidden City

 

Day 4 (B,L)
Beijing
Visit Hutong Tour by rickshaw, and The Summer Palace.
- Hutong : The old narrow paths where common people lived. All the Hutongs crisscross with each other, dotted with the Kindergarten, the Bell Tower, the Drum Tower, the Tea House, and the lake, House of Gong Infant and local people's houses among them. The typical buildings in Hutong are quadrangles-a compound with houses around a square courtyard. A tour to the Hutong will be escorted a visit to a local family, having a cheerful talk with the family member to see how life goes on within these traditional architectures. We may visit one primary school(RMB10 p.p. for the visit,not including in the quotation) in the Hutong, knowing more of Beijing and its people, and a flee market in the Hutong, knowing more of Beijing, its people and distinctive culture.
- The Summer Palace: The Summer Palace in Beijing is an outstanding expression of the creative art of Chinese landscape garden design, incorporating the works of humankind and nature in a harmonious whole.

 

Day 5 (B,L)
Beijing / Xian
Transfer via: Morning flight on our arrangement.
On arrival at Xian. Be met and transferred to your hotel. Have city tours to the Provincial Museum and the Ancient City Wall. Enjoy the Tang Dynasty show in the evening.
- The Provincial Museum: One of the main museums in China which holds numerous unearthed cultural relics of China.
- The Ancient City Wall: An extension of the old Tang Dynasty structure boasting the most complete city wall that survives through Chinese long history.
- The Tang Dynasty show: The show that presents the palace dances and sings in the Tang Dynasty when Xian was the capital.

 

Day 6 (B,L)
Xian
Visit Terra cotta warriors, Bell Tower and Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
- Terra cotta warriors: This incredible 2000 year-old army of life-sized warriors, each one unique, is part of the underground tomb of the Emperor Qin. Well over 7000 figures were drawn up in full battle array in several large pits. Many of the figures, including soldiers, archers, horses and chariots, have been restored, and the repairs and excavations continue at the site where you can see both repaired and broken warriors in a truly impressive display. There is also an excellent museum, including bronze chariots unearthed nearby, and a film about the history and discovery of the tomb. It is about 35 km from Xian.
- Bell Tower: This is the largest and best-preserved of its kind in China, is 36 meters (118 feet) high. It stands on a brick base 35.5 meters (116.4 feet) long and 8.6 meters (28.2 feet) high on each side, which is the largest and best-preserved of its kind in China, is 36 meters (118 feterra cotta warriorset) high. - Big Wild Goose Pagoda: The pagoda where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India.

 

Day 7 (B, L, )
Xi'an / Guilin
Transfer via: Morning flight on our arrangement.
On arrival at Guilin, be met & transferred to your hotel with private vehicle & tour guide. Then have private city tours to the Reed Flute Cave and the Elephant Trunk Hill.
- Elephant Trunk Hill: Located at the conjunction of the Li River and the Peach Blossom River, the whole hill looks very much like a giant elephant with a long trunk, it is the symbol of Guilin city.
- Reed Flute Cave: Known as "the Palace of Natural Arts" where you can see beautiful stalactites & stalagmites,learn how they are formed.

 

Day 8 (B, L, )
Guilin / Yangshuo
Full day Li River Cruise to Yangshuo with lunch aboard and stay in Yangshuo tonight.
- Li River Cruise: Depart from your hotel in the morning. Be transferred to the Zhujiang Pier(about 1 hour drive)for a 4.5 hours wonderful cruise.You will enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields ,farms and villages with water buffalos,cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank. Disembark at the one-thousand-year-old town Yangshuo in the afternoon. Have a short exploration to the old town. Stay in Yangshuo tonight.Li River Cruise

 

Day 9 (B, L, )
Yangshuo
Morning tour to Fuli ancient town located by the Li River, where most of the local people live on making art fans and farm products exchange, you may visit the local market, rice noodle factory, rice wine factory. After lunch in Yangshuo, afternoon bike ride (or motor bike ride) through the country road via Aishan to ancient Banyan Tree Park, Moon Hill and ride back to hotel; free at night on western street.
--Mifeng /Rice noodle Mill: Meifeng Mill or Rice noodle Mill or Chinese spaghetti is made there and they are very delicious.
--Wine Plant in Fuli,Yangshuo: Plants there can make very special rice wine. Local people enjoy it very much after a full day's hard work or during their leisure days.
--Yangshuo Grand Banyan Tree: one of the main scenic attractions of Yangshuo county.
--Yangshuo Moon Mountain: The cave is about 50 meters in height and width, shaped like a semicircular archway.

Yangshuo / Guilin / Beijing
Transfer via: Morning flight on our arrangement.
Free at leisure till to be transferred to the airport in Guilin for the flight to Beijing.
