Detailed Itinerary: Upon your arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport and then you will be transferred to your hotel by our private car/van.
The rest of day is free for you to rest and explore.
Day 2
Place & Transport: Beijing
Today's Activities: The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Hutong Tour in Dongcheng District
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Courtyard 7 Restaurant
Detailed Itinerary: Today we will visit the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City is the largest imperial complex where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties lived. It epitomized the symmetry and majesty of traditional Chinese architecture. Then we will go to Tiananmen Square. Tiananmen Square is surrounded by many buildings such as the Monument to People's Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, the Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao and the National Museum of China.
After lunch at a great local restaurant, you will see traditional courtyards formed alongside narrow alleys which are known as Hutongs. Local residents still live here and its slow pace living style sharply contrasts to the fast pace of the modern city.
Day 3
Place & Transport: Beijing
Today's Activities: The Mutianyu Great Wall(with round way cable car), Temple of Heaven, Cloisonne Factory
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Xin Shuang Quan Restaurant
Detailed Itinerary: After breakfast, we will drive around 2 hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall. The Mutianyu winds 1.4 miles through lofty mountains and high ridges, many sections of which are made of granite. Cable car is available to help visitors.
Lunch is at a great local restaurant which caters for farmhouse dishes. Pay a visit to the biggest Cloisonné factory to see the craftsmen at work.
In the afternoon, we continue the tour to the Temple of Heaven. The Temple of Heaven is a holy place where the emperors offered sacrifices to the God of Heaven in ancient China. The highlights at the Temple of Heaven that you should not miss are the Imperial Vault of Heaven, the Echo Wall and the Circular Mound Altar.
Day 4
Place & Transport: Beijing to Tianjin
Today's Activities: Summer Palace with boat Cruise and the Garden of Virtue and Harmony, Our guide and driver will escort you from Beijing to Tianjin
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Xibei Restaurant
Detailed Itinerary: This morning excursion will take you to the Summer Palace which was a luxurious imperial garden for royal families in ancient China. It is well preserved and famed for its delicate scenery and ingenious layout.
After lunch at a local restaurant, you will be transferred to Tianjin Cruise Port by our private car/van to disembark on your ship.
