Day 1Beijing Arrival

Our guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel by our comfortable car/van.

Day 2Beijing

Our guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby and we will drive 2 hours to get to Mutianyu Great Wall. The Mutianyu Great Wall is a less crowded section of the Great Wall yet enjoys superb view. It has a rarely seen structure among all sections of the Great Wall with three connected watchtowers. A round trip cable car is included to help you. After lunch at a local restaurant near Mutianyu, you will have the chance to visit the largest Cloisonné Factory in Beijing. In the afternoon, we drive back to city to visit the Temple of Heaven. The temple was a holy alter where the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties came every winter to pray for good harvest.

Day 3Beijing

Today's visit starts from Tiananmen Square. Tiananmen Square is the largest city square in China and it is near the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City is the largest imperial palace complex, which was home to 24 emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties. It houses around 9,000 rooms which are lined symmetrically on the south-north central axis. Lunch is at a local restaurant which serves great Chinese food. In the afternoon, take a rickshaw ride through the hutong alleyways which vividly reflect the local life and the great change under the urban development.

Day 4Beijing

After breakfast, our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel to visit the Lama Temple. The Lama Temple is the largest Tibetan-style lamasery outside Tibet and houses a treasury of Buddhist sculptured images of gods, demons and Buddhas, as well as Tibetan-style murals. En route to The Summer Palace, we will pass by Beijing Olympic Green. You will have an exterior visit of the olympic venues of 2008 - the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will step into the Summer Palace. It is the largest and best preserved imperial garden in China with its architectural grandeur and stunning natural beauty.

Day 5Beijing Departure

You will be transferred to the airport and your Beijing tour ends.
