Detailed Itinerary: Our guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to rest or explore. Dinner is not included. Our guide can give you suggestions.
Day 2
Place & Transport: Beijing
Today's Activities: Temple of Heaven, The Mutianyu Great Wall(with round way cable car), Shahe Cloisonne Factory
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Xin Shuang Quan Restaurant
Detailed Itinerary: Our guide will pick you up at your hotel. The first stop is the ,Mutianyu Great Wall which is a less crowded section of the Great Wall. Walk along the wall to the see its watchtowers and enjoy superb views. Round trip cable car is available to help you up and down.
Lunch is at a local restaurant near Mutianyu which serves great farmhouse dishes.
Drive back to city to visit the Temple of Heaven afterwards. The Temple of Heaven is a complex of Taoist buildings where emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties came every year to pray for good harvest.
Day 3
Place & Transport: Beijing
Today's Activities: Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Treasure Houses, Hutong Tour in Xicheng District, Li Heng Tang Pearl Store
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Jing Mian Da Wang Restaurant (Di'anmen Branch)
Detailed Itinerary: Today you will first visit Tiananmen Square, which is the largest city square in China. Many significant national events were held here.
Then you will go to the Forbidden city, which is the largest imperial palace complex, home to 24 emperros of Ming and Qing dynasties. The Forbidden City tells the stories of royal families in history by its magnifient halls, tranquil gardens, numerous rooms and exquisite pavilions.
After lunch at a local restaurant, hop on a rickshaw to ride through the narrow hutong alleys. A local family's visit will give you an insight into local people's life.
Day 4
Place & Transport: Beijing
Today's Activities: Exterior visit of Beijing Olympic Stadiums(Bird's Nest and Water Cube), Lama Temple, Summer Palace with boat Cruise and the Garden of Virtue and Harmony
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Xibei Restaurant
Detailed Itinerary: Today you will visit Beijing Olympic Green, Lama Temple ans Summer Palace.
Lama Temple is the largest and most famous Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. You can see the world's largest wooden statue (the Matreiya Buddha) and Tibetan exhibitions.
After lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit the Summer Palace. It is the best preserved and the largest imperial garden in China.
En route back to your hotel, we will pass by the Olympic Green and you will have an exterior visit of the venues.
Day 5
Place & Transport: Depart Beijing, Flight not included
Today's Activities: Hotel to airport Transfer (Beijing)
