Day 1Beijing Arrival

Our guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day if free for you to rest or explore the city on your own.

Day 2Beijing

Today is a full day tour of the city highlights including Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and Hutong. As a landmark of Beijing City, Tiananmen Sauqre dots many significant buildings such as the Tiananmen Tower, the Monument of People's Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, the Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao and the National Museum of China. The Forbidden City is the largest and the best preserved imperial palace complex in the world. Its halls, courtyards, palaces, gardens, gates, pavilions and ornaments all represent the supreme power of the royal families. Lunch is at a local restaurant which serves great authentic Chinese food. Hutong tour will be in the afternoon. Hutongs are small alleys lined by courtyards on each side. See the sights of Beijing’s yesterday on a rickshaw. Interact with local residents by a family visit.

Day 3Beijing

After breakfast, a 2 hours' drive will take you to Badaling Great Wall. Badaling Great Wall was the first section of the Great Wall opened to public. It climbs across superb mountain scenery 75 kilometers north-west of Beijing. The battlements and watchtowers are high and steep in places, and provide wonderful views across the hills. Lunch is arranged at a local restaurant near Badaling. You will know more about Cloisonné - one the specialties of Beijing by paying a visit to the biggest Cloisonné factory. The Sacred Way and Changling Tomb follows in the afternoon. The Sacred Way means the road leading to heaven. It is lined with 12 human figures and 24 animals which are larger than life size and sculpted with stones. Changling Tomb is the tomb of Emperor Yongle, the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty. The tomb extends over an area of 100,000 square meters and it is the principal and best preserved tomb among the 13 tombs.

Day 4Beijing

We will head for the Eastern Qing Mausoleums today. Eastern Qing Mausoleums are the sacred burial grounds of emperors, empresses and imperial concubines of Qing dynasty. It is the finest, largest and best preserved extant mausoleum complexes in China. Lunch is at a local restaurant near Eastern Qing Mausoleums. After that, return to your hotel.
