Summer Palace

Situated in the northwest of Beijing, the Summer Palace is 9 miles (15 kilometers) from the downtown area. It is the largest and best-preserved royal park in China. The Palace greatly influences Chinese horticulture and landscape, with its famous natural views and cultural interest, and has long been recognized as 'The Museum of Royal Gardens'. You will be walking for about 2 hours (2 kilometers) in the park.
