Chuandixia Village

There is a lovely little village called Chuandixia 60 km away from China’s capital Beijing. The history of Chuandixia goes as far back as to the Ming-dynasty when many families moved from Shanxi Province to here. It is the first one village been found by China which was kept quite intact. The structure of it is very rigorous, has a superb article value.

Chuandixia village looks like an old castle. It has the alleys which were all layed with colorful stones. It is a very good place to shoot dramas, and it was been used as the set for several dramas.

  • Take bus 929 from Pingguoyuan subway station to Chuandixia village.
